As I mentioned in my comments about Captain Atom, sometimes an already complex, detailed design lends itself much better to redesign than a character with a simplistic, classic look. Case in point: Green Arrow. I've seen A LOT of different designs for him, so I was able to draw on a vast wealth of ideas for inspiration. I've always been partial to Green Arrow's hooded look, though the more Robin Hood-esque cap with the feather is a definite classic.
Whats funny is that aside from the hood and bare arms, I hardly drew on all the redesigns of GA out there. Unlike some of the other designs I've posted, which have all simply been variations on classic looks, this design is an almost total overhaul. And yet, Green Arrow still looks like Green Arrow. So I like it. A lot.
I'll give a free internet to the guy who can point out the true basis I used for this design of Green Arrow.
