Description

After a little break, I'm back with more fanart! :D (Big Grin)

Next up on the docket is a character that has quietly become a favorite of mine: the sexy unbreakable Onyx, by :iconmrfuzzynutz: Now, a lot of comic book superheroines and women are drawn as being somewhere between "attractive" and "uber-hottie", but the thing about being an attractive woman (at least, based on my observations; last I checked, I'm not a woman, or attractive) is that it can be as much about how you act and present yourself as much as it does what your body is like, what your facial features are, and what you wear. Most comic book women are *drawn* hot, but few actually seem to be aware of this and embrace it, and most that do are villainous vamps and femme fatales. So what's great about Onyx is that she really embraces her hotness and sexiness, really flaunting herself with a great smile. :iconmrfuzzynutz: has done a great job not just in creating and designing her, but visually conveying a memorable and fun attitude and personality that really makes Onyx appeal to me. So I just had to include her in my fanart series.

Hope you enjoy dude. :D

Great fanart for this character and I love her attitude and that she really embraces her hotness and sexiness and really flaunting herself with a great smile- I've got a few Original Characters and a few of my own specific versions of public domain characters who also have similar attitudes towards their looks and how they dress.

But what I'm really especially proud of is that I'll have different types of female characters in my independent comic books with different body types so my comics will reflect real life in that regard but sure, I'll have a lot of hot and attractive female Super Heroes AND villains and I'll have a lot of attractive and good-looking male Super Heroes and Villains because sex does sell and comics are a visual medium but it'll depend on the character and if I think that that kind of approach is what would work well for them. For example, for my version of Thor The Norse God Of Thunder, instead of being a blonde-haired pretty-boy who looks like a male-model like the Marvel Comics versions, he's going to look more like a hulking, massive superpowered Viking barbarian mixed with a biker mixed with the character, The Mountain from Game Of Thrones and some of my characters like Elephant-Man, Cockroach-Man and won't look like People's Sexiest Man Alive, either. I'll balance it out in my comics and not just have all female comic book characters drawn hot almost as a default mechanism like how Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse and many other publishers have typically done it( but with some characters like Squirrel Girl and Jubilee, I find that they're usually consistently drawn as not exactly being super-attractive or looking like Super Models but more ''Girl Next Door-ish'').

I'll definitely have to check out more of Onyx at MrFuzzyNutz's gallery!
